to myself, I pledge: It may have been a long time coming. I know now that being in a wheelchair is who I am, as much as I hated it and wouldn't admit it before. BUT I'VE BEEN DOING IT FOR ALMOST 10 YEARS NOW... AND GODDAMMIT IF I HAVE TO I'LL DO ANOTHER 10. this is who I am now, and I know I'm a better person for it. I just have to accept it. I am WHEELS, whether its the chair or my car. I can handle these feelings and emotions, and I can more than handle myself in a chair now, and will continue to do so! My time for myself IS NOW!!
